Tenuta Testarossa is a real heaven of peace in the small village of Pescosansonesco, jewel of Pasetti Winery from which we receive the grapes that will become our cru.
30 minutes far from Pescara, inside the National Park of Gran Sasso (550 m) and Monti della Laga, our home will be pleased to welcome you to let you live moments of relax in contact with nature.

You’ll find corners of paradise where you can enjoy the peace of the pool, read a good book and a walk in the woods…
In few minutes, the Adriatic coast will allow you to spend a day on the beach or dinner on palafittes and conclude your evening with a tasting of typical products and our fine wines.

												<p>Along with the The Bosso company of mid mountain, inside the National Parks of Abruzzo and the WWF Abruzzo, you can venture to hiking trails with panoramic destinations or penetrating into the ancient woods of fir and beech -flavored tale , along rivers and streams that run through picturesque valleys .<br />
We will climb the peaks of solitary places to discover and explore the most unspoiled nature . We may prefer night-time tours that immerse ourselves completely in and mysterious sounds and verses.<br />
It’s possible to make excursions with wine tasting; an example is the gentle and scenic trek that from Santo Stefano di Sassanio leads to the impressive Rocca Calascio , extraordinary monument and symbol of the fortresses of Abruzzo inside. You can taste the traditional flavors of Abruzzo mountain in one of the restaurants in Santo Stefano and Calascio. A day of history, nature and flavors , with the company of qualified and experienced The Bosso hiking guides.<br />
In order to complete our experience, during the excursions you will be able to integrate different activities such as : biowatching , orienteering and activities of various kinds.<br />
You can also do multi-day tours by choosing to stay in mountain refuges.<br />
The tours are of medium difficulty and accessible to those who like to learn and enjoy nature in a simple and active way.<br />
All tours are guided by experienced and qualified personnel such as: tour mid-mountain hiking teachers , biologists and naturalists.</p>

												<p>WOLF VISIT CENTER  in Popoli inside the Maiella National Park.<br />
The Wolf Visit Center is a property of the CFS (State Forestry Corps) which is located in Popoli (PE) within the former Pilot Mountain Crow Company (now Regional Office for Biodiversity). Falling within the Maiella National Park, the property is situated in a very picturesque landscape dominated by chain Morrone.<br />
For several years, the Center is managed by the Cooperative “THE BOSSO” which plays in its internal environmental education activities and tours.<br />
Next to the hotel there is a trail called “From prey to predator” “where several wildlife areas are located:<br />
• ungulates (deer, roe deer, wild boar, fallow deer and mouflon);<br />
• wolves;<br />
• aviaries of birds of prey rescue center.<br />
In these areas the animals are housed and cared for, in a condition of semifreedom.<br />
Several wolves that have suffered accidents or injuries are here retrieved and then reintroduced.</p>

												<p><b>Capestrano</b> is an Italian town of 874 inhabitants in the province of L’Aquila in the Abruzzo region. Agricultural center 43 km far from the town, at 465 amsl in Tirino valley, situated on the southwestern edge of a vast plan of karstic between the Navelli plateau and the extreme south-eastern foothills of the Group of Gran Sasso. It is also part of the Mountain Community <i>Campo Imperatore-Piana di Navelli</i>. Part of the village falls within the territory of the National Park of Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga constituting in fact one of the gates in its southern part.</p>

How to reach us

We are about 15 minutes by car from the “Torre de ‘Passeri-Casauria” exit – autostrada A 24/25. After the toll booth turn left toward Pescosansonesco. Once you get to the village, follow signals for the ancient Roman source and 30 meters beyond you will see a road on the right. Tenuta Testarossa is 800 m.
